Ivise

Frankly, I have no idea what is the purpose of this blog. If it were made 3 years ago, then it is completely understandable. But then now? When all of us are practically (if not totally) separated... and on top of that, owns our own personal blog!

However, I am still very glad that Ivy actually text me in the middle of the night asking for my e-mail address. (she didn’t notice it was midnight here when she texted) Coz it means that I am still remembered as being in the KEYS! LOL! I’m a proud member actually. In fact, I was only talking to Ivy the other day about other names without E and we found SKY!

So yeah.. KEYS can move on without me. *Depressing fact*

An interesting fact that I realised just a few minutes ago is; the four of us never really had a huge argument before. As mentioned before, we were rather LOUD most of the time. Laughing and gossiping is like a must-have. A lot of people even said that we are just seeking attention, considering the fact that we were rather popular in Uni. = ) Sometimes, I DO feel that we are similar to the casts in Sex and The City when we had a dress code day (etc: boots, tank tops, pink colour etc.) But then again, what more justification is necessary when we are enjoying ourselves?

Undoubtedly, apart from sharing the happy things there are also quite a number of saddening events during these 3 years. You know, the normal adolescence stuff. *what else..* I don’t really need to elaborate on the “not-so-happy” stuff coz Jean said this blog should only portray good things. Hehe.. Perhaps we can create another blog for emo things? LOL. Anyway, this is what I called, a natural life-cycle. Can’t be happy all the time, right? But it is comforting to know that whenever one of us is in trouble, all of us will be there.

Knowing that whenever you feel lonely and depressed, you are not alone coz there will always be three other people out there to give u a hug or just lend u a listening ear.

Knowing that there will be people to point you at the right direction and offer you torchlight when you walk your darkest aisle.

Knowing that even when you are miles away, they still place you in the same exact position in their heart (if not more..)

And yes, I do miss my girls terribly awfully bloody much.

Period.

Before I get addicted to writing too many irrelevant silly dumb stuff in this blog, just wanna say it’s an honour to be chosen as the first amongst the KEYS’ member to pen down some random thoughts in our blog (well actually, it was more like being bugged and coerced by the others to start writing SOMETHING on our page.. *sob/LOL*). Lame cold jokes aside, initially I didn’t really get the idea of having a separate blog from our individual blogs.. More blogs means more writing. And more writing means more time in front of my laptop screen. And more time in front of my laptop screen means declining eye vision! Bottom line seems like a disadvantage. But then, come to think of it.. It’s a group blog where the 4 of us (Kiun.Ean.Yeng.Shan.) gets to share our thoughts on one page. A way to hold on to the bond we have and not letting it slip away as we’re all physically apart from each other. And also all thanks to Miss IVISE GAN LI EAN who decided (and left) to go to Melbourne; and she also likes to contribute to whatever we’re doing around here, not wanting to feel and be left out (HAHA!!). So, ta-dah!! Here’s our blog where you get 4 crazy girls writing bout crazy things and we don’t really give a fuck whether you like us or not. *wink wink*

I’m known to write EXTREMELY LONG blogs so I wouldn’t let my Darlings go through such excruciating vision torment for our 1st blog (and yes, we call each other Darling! J). For starters, I’d just write bout how we actually came up with our group/clique name.. Other more interesting stuffs will be updated in the future when either of us have got the guts and pissed enough to write bout humiliating stuffs bout one another. *evil grin*

Before KEYS was formed, we were actually called YES (and yes, we’re YES. And no, we’re not THAT lame). At that time, there were only me (Yeng/Jean), (Ean/Ivise) and (Shan/Shan²/33/Shany). We were just NORMAL kids and fresh out of high school, and got ”CONNED” by Nilai International College (now known as Nilai University College – doesn’t sound nice anymore btw) with their lucrative offer of full scholarship to pursue our Foundation course as well as Degree course there. Naively we all took the bait and thus became Nilai-ans. Ivise and I were friends since primary school so we were stuck (LOL!) with each other when we were in Nilai. Luckily, God granted us cute lil 33 (literally, HEHE) and we became a trio as we were in the same class. The year of 2005 ended with us having lots of new buddies and acquaintances, but the best has yet to come!

In Jan 2006, 33 informed us that her ex-roommate from high school in Sabah was coming over to Nilai to pursue her Degree course. Coincidentally, she was taking the same course as us, Accounting & Finance (and no, we’re not geeks >.<) so we would be attending the same classes. And if I am not mistaken (forgive me if I’m wrong coz this occurred years back n I have not-so-good memory), she started hanging out with us when she had to join our group for an assignment during our 1st semester in Degree. With open arms we welcomed our new friend WITHOUT KNOWING that beneath those glasses and lack of enthusiasm (or we would call SS-ness which stands for Syok Sendiri), she was actually A DEVIL IN DISGUISE. Fortunately, she turned out to be just like us! Thus, the immediate acceptance as a member of our crazy group.

What happened during the days, weeks, months and years after that.. The outcomes as of July 2009 are:

· We’re still KEYS.

· We’re still as nice/noisy/crazy/obnoxious/Super SS/loud as we were in 2006.

· We’re still a bunch of girls that don’t really give a fuck if you don’t like us.

· We still gossip and shop when we hook up.

Oh yeah, before I end and let the others do the enlightenment.. I haven’t got to HOW we actually came up with the name KEYS. OBVIOUSLY it’s the 1st letter of our 1st names combines together to make a sensible word. And also because we had to come up with a name for our group assignments and presentations.. It’s not like we’re really THAT LAME AND FREE to actually come up for a name for our clique! It was necessary!! So instead of coming up with a cheesy name like F4 or Crazy Girls or Spice Girls or Smart Girls or Cute Girls or Super Girls..

We came up with K.E.Y.S.
